Finally Get the Answers You’ve Been Looking For.
If you’ve spent years wondering why certain things feel harder for you than they seem to for others — or if you’ve suspected ADHD, autism, anxiety, or a mood disorder but never had a clear answer — psychological testing can give you that clarity. At Bloom, we call our approach the Bloom Standard, and it’s designed to be compassionate, thorough, and genuinely empowering.
we know you need more than a diagnosis
You Need An Evaluation To Understand The Whole Picture
Psychological testing at Bloom is led by Dr. Sarah Kendrick, our licensed psychologist. The process is collaborative from start to finish — you’re not just a set of results, you’re a whole person with a unique story, and every step of the evaluation is guided by that understanding.
What you receive at the end isn’t just a label — it’s a detailed written report with diagnostic impressions, personalized recommendations, and a clear plan for next steps. Information is power, and when used well, it becomes a tool for real, lasting change.

What to Expect
The Bloom Standard is a 4-step process that typically takes 4–6 weeks from your initial intake to your final feedback session. Every step is designed to be clear, collaborative, and free of judgment.
You’ll begin with an intake session with Dr. Sarah Kendrick, where you’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to learn. From there, testing is administered, scored, and carefully interpreted — with your full story in mind, not just the numbers.
In your final feedback session, you’ll review your results in detail, receive a written report, and leave with a clear understanding of your findings and a personalized plan for what comes next. You’ll have space to ask every question you need to feel truly informed.

What is the Bloom Standard?
The Bloom Standard is our multi-step approach to psychological testing — combining an initial therapy intake, comprehensive psychological assessment, and a medication consultation if needed. It’s designed to give you clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward.
How long does the testing process take?
The full process typically takes 4–8 weeks from your initial intake session to your final feedback session. The timeline can vary depending on scheduling and the scope of testing needed.
What conditions can psychological testing identify?
Psych testing at Bloom can help identify ADHD, autism spectrum traits, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, learning differences, and other cognitive or emotional patterns. Dr. Sarah will determine which assessments are most appropriate based on your intake session.
Will I receive a written report?
Yes — every client receives a detailed written report that includes diagnostic impressions (where relevant), personalized recommendations, and a plan for next steps. This report can also be shared with schools, employers, or other providers if needed.
Does Bloom accept insurance for psychological testing?
Coverage varies by plan. Bloom is in-network with Wellmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Midland’s Choice, and Health Partners, though psych testing often requires pre-authorization and may be applied to your deductible. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your benefits — and our team is happy to help with that process.
What if I don't have insurance or my insurance doesn't cover testing?
We believe access to answers shouldn’t depend on your insurance situation. If you’re paying privately, we’ll walk you through all costs before getting started and offer installment options to support accessibility. For questions about rates, contact our billing coordinator Mitch at mitch@bloomwomenswellness.org.
Do I need a referral to start psychological testing at Bloom?
No referral is needed. You can book your intake session directly through our online scheduling system. If you’re unsure whether psych testing is the right next step for you, our team is happy to help guide you.
