Internship Program
Come Learn. Grow. Be Supported. Make an Impact.
At Bloom Women’s Wellness, we believe the future of mental health care starts with how we train and support the next generation of providers.
Small on Purpose
1–2 Interns Per Year, By Design
Bloom intentionally accepts only 1–2 clinical interns per year. We know we could take more, and we intentionally choose not to. Keeping our internship program small allows us to provide a highly individualized experience where interns aren’t lost in a large training program or treated as additional bodies to fill a caseload. When you intern at Bloom, we want to know you — what populations excite you, where you feel confident, where you feel completely out of your depth, and what kind of clinician you hope to become. Then we work with you to create an internship experience that supports those goals.
Why We Invest So Heavily in Interns
Bloom was built on the belief that healthy providers create healthier systems — and healthier systems create better care for clients. When providers receive excellent training, strong mentorship, and permission to keep learning, everyone benefits: providers are more confident, burnout decreases, clinical care improves, and clients have greater access to thoughtful, high-quality care. Investing in providers is investing in clients.
The Curriculum
Real-World Clinical Training
We want you to feel comfortable saying things like: “I have absolutely no idea what to do here.”
Because you’re an intern! You’re supposed to be learning.
We don’t expect perfection. We expect curiosity, openness to feedback, professionalism, self-awareness, and a genuine desire to grow.
Our goal is to create an environment where asking questions is encouraged and where interns can stretch clinically while knowing they have experienced providers supporting them.
And, YES our interns are paid!!
Bloom interns are compensated per client session. Graduate school is expensive, internship requires real investment, and the clinical work interns provide has value.
You Will Thrive At Bloom If These Are Also Your Values
