Dr. Sarah Kendrick, Ph.D. (She/Her/Hers)

I attended Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, California, and while there, earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Theology. I’ve been a licensed psychologist for over 10 years, working with diverse populations in a variety of settings, including public healthcare, primary care, the VA, and private practice. I was the training director of the Psychosocial Medicine Psychology Internship Program at San Francisco General Hospital and a clinical supervisor for psychology interns. Currently, I serve as an adjunct professor for undergraduate students, and the role gives me the opportunity to share my love of psychology and helping others. I have extensive training in psychological testing for diagnostic clarification, bariatric surgery, and other healthcare-related issues (i.e., organ transplants).

What My Support Looks Like

As a psychologist focused on psychological testing, my support includes completing comprehensive interviews with each client and selecting the most appropriate tests for referral. Once testing is completed, I write a report with recommendations and, if applicable, clinical diagnoses. I am not currently providing psychotherapy, but will make referrals to other colleagues as appropriate.

In My Free Time You Can Find Me…

As the mom of a 7-year-old boy and the bonus mom to boys aged 8 and 12, most of my free time involves ensuring that we avoid trips to the emergency room. My husband, sons, and I are all active in Scouting, and I provide mental health training to Scouting leaders. Our family is currently figuring out how to care for and raise chickens!
