Jordyn Jondle, LMSW
(She/Her/Hers)
Modalities: Trauma-Informed Care, Somatic Awareness, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation
I am a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa, graduating with honors, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Iowa State University. My background in human development continues to shape my understanding of growth across the lifespan, including how early experiences, relationships, and environments influence how people think, feel, and move through the world.
My experience spans nonprofit, community-based, and wellness settings. I’ve provided in-home and community support programs, such as Healthy Start and Empowerment, working alongside new mothers and families to support early childhood development, maternal well-being, and access to essential resources. I’ve also worked in residential treatment and youth and young adult mentorship roles, supporting adolescents in developing emotional regulation and coping skills, forming identity, and navigating key life stages.

What My Support Looks Like
I provide individual therapy for clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, and life transitions. My work often centers around supporting clients in understanding their nervous system, exploring patterns that have developed as adaptive responses to past experiences, and building more aligned and intentional ways of relating to themselves and others. I integrate trauma-informed, relational, and strength-based approaches, while also drawing from somatic awareness, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and evidence-based practices to support both insight and practical change.
At times, life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or heavier than expected, especially during periods of change, transition, or uncertainty. Therapy can be a place to slow down, take a breath, and begin to make sense of what you have been carrying. I approach this work with a respect and honor for your experience and the path that brought you here. The patterns, reactions, and ways of coping you may have developed served a purpose; together, we can begin to understand them with more clarity and compassion.
In our work, we create space to gently untangle what feels overwhelming, while also building on the strengths and resilience you already have. This might look like learning new ways to respond to stress, reconnecting with yourself, or beginning to trust your own voice again. Some sessions may feel steady and grounding, while others may gently challenge you in new ways. I aim to meet you where you are, while supporting growth in a way that feels realistic and sustainable for you. My goal is to walk alongside you, in whatever season of life you’re in, and support you in creating a sense of steadiness, connection, and an undeniable belief in yourself.
Across all areas of my work, I am committed to supporting resilience, deepening self-understanding, and creating space for meaningful and sustainable growth.
In My Free Time You Can Find Me…
Outside of my work, I make a conscious effort to live in a way that feels self-honoring, balanced, and sustainable for me. I prioritize movement, rest, and nutrition as part of supporting my overall well-being and longevity, and I enjoy strength training, Muay Thai, and meal prepping as part of that. I also intentionally make space for reflection through reading, writing, and journaling, and I spend time in nature each week to reset and stay grounded. These practices support me, while also reminding me that there are many different ways to care for and connect with ourselves.
I’m the oldest of six, and family is a central part of my life. Being the oldest has shaped how I relate to responsibility, growth, and the different seasons of life, while also deepening my appreciation for how uniquely each person experiences and moves through those moments. My spiritual life and connection to something greater are also important to me and continue to evolve in a way that feels personal and grounding.
I also value being part of community, attending local events and supporting creatives whenever I can.
