Maggie, Therapy Dog in Training

Currently in training — coming soon to sessions near you

Maggie is Bloom’s therapy dog in training, currently working toward her certification through Dog Training Elite. Therapy dogs are known to help decrease anxiety, stress, and depression — and Maggie is already great at offering silent comfort and a calm, grounding presence.

When Maggie graduates, she’ll be ready to join sessions and we’re looking forward to watching her build trust and help put clients at ease. She’s a big part of the Bloom family and brings a little extra joy to everyone she meets.

The Benefits of Therapy Dogs

Research shows that therapy dogs can help reduce anxiety, lower stress hormones, ease depression, and make it easier for people to open up during sessions. Their presence can be particularly helpful for clients who find it difficult to start conversations or who benefit from tactile comfort and connection.
